Today is also a big day because the full pattern version of our most recent quilt along, Blocked Rainbow, is now available!

The full pattern contains directions for a throw sized quilt and a twin sized quilt, along with diagrams for each block and a large setting diagram. This pattern is perfect for a beginner quilter's class or shorter QAL with your guild or shop! It's available on both Craftsy and Etsy. 

The pattern cover has my original throw sized quilt featured; here's my twin sized version done in Island Batiks and black solid. I have this quilt back from the quilter and it will be finished very soon!

Summer Patio Pattern Premiere {Giveaway and Sale!}

I'm excited to share our newest Honey, Bunny, and Doll pattern -- Summer Patio!

This pattern is perfect for the jelly rolls you've been hoarding in your stash! This pattern includes a twin size option (68" x 91") and a full size option (77" x 91"). Rather than using a background fabric for the sashing, this pattern uses a single fabric for the borders and the sashing to make the blocks float like tiles! You can get the pattern on Etsy or Craftsy.

We've also reached a huge milestone -- over 900 likes on our HBD Facebook page! Thank you for showing such support for us over the last few years! We love designing patterns and selling fabric. As a little thank you to all of our friends and followers, our Christine's Kitchen and Starburst patterns are $9 on Etsy for a short time only! (Regularly $12!!)

Spring Splendor Pattern Premiere and Giveaway!

After a long fashion, Spring Splendor is FINALLY in pattern form!

Amanda designed this quilt using a fat quarter bundle of Joel Dewberry's Botanique line and turned it into a gorgeous queen sized quilt perfect for spring!

The main technique used in this quilt is stitch and flip triangles -- if you are an advanced beginner or intermediate quilter, this quilt should be a piece of cake!

One nice aspect of this design is that it works well with larger scale prints -- I love being able to highlight some of the gorgeous large scale prints on the shelves!

We have a new pattern available on Etsy!! Say hello to Shadow Boxes!

Update: I used this pattern in September 2017 to make my own version of this quilt with the Bonsai fabric line from Island Batik.

This pattern is a great option for your large scale prints! This queen sized quilt turns out 92 inches square. Don't forget that you can get your solids and extra wide backing from us on Etsy!
