Spring Splendor Pattern Premiere and Giveaway!

After a long fashion, Spring Splendor is FINALLY in pattern form!

Amanda designed this quilt using a fat quarter bundle of Joel Dewberry's Botanique line and turned it into a gorgeous queen sized quilt perfect for spring!

The main technique used in this quilt is stitch and flip triangles -- if you are an advanced beginner or intermediate quilter, this quilt should be a piece of cake!

One nice aspect of this design is that it works well with larger scale prints -- I love being able to highlight some of the gorgeous large scale prints on the shelves!

  1. I am a Joel Dewberry fabric fan and I see several familiar fabrics in this quilt! I'm interested in those stitch&flip triangles..so would love to try this quilt with my Joel fabrics too! The Easter Bunny brought me a renewed sense of what life is all about. Family, relationships, priorities and relying on God.

  5. The Easter Bunny skipped our house this year but I got to spend a lot of time with my kids and grandkids.
Between family time and Church time I did not get much sewing time in this weekend. So I am returning to work wished for another day off.
Thanks for the opportunity to win a patten. I love stitch and flip triangles.

  6. I guess the Easter bunny brought me fun with family and friends as well as very meaningful times of worship. We were 73 years old and were surprised Friday evening with the announcement that we and our 18 year old granddaughter were going to hunt for plastic eggs filled with candy. At my age I don't get down to look under things any more, so we let our granddaughter do it. We also each were given a small chocolate bunny. We always enjoy our times with our family. At noon on Friday and again Sunday morning we had very meaningful times of worship. Then on Sunday evening 7 International college students joined us for dinner. We followed dinner with introducing them to decorating eggs. The girls especially enjoyed the activity. Nancy A: rangers@sbcglobal.net

  19. Love the quilt and the pattern, it's so pretty. The design is itself is a perfect showcase for so many different fabric lines. The Easter Bunny brought me a Bunny Big Ears chocolate rabbit. He will last about two weeks. Rina
