Here are some of the finished blocks that my students made!
I'm also excited to share that I will be back to teach TWO paper piecing classes in April and May! I'll be teaching a second session of the beginner paper piecing class and an intermediate/advanced paper piecing class too! If you are local (or semi-local) to Gaithersburg, MD, I would love to have you in one of my classes!
Awesome; I find teaching classes to be really fulfilling. I hope your next two run smoothly!
ReplyDeleteCongrats! Teaching is one of my favorite things. I like the way you started them on two useful, not intimidating blocks!
ReplyDeleteWonderful! I've been teaching classes for a few years now. It's always a bit scary running a new class for the first time - are my notes easy to follow? have I judged the pace of the class right? etc - but just great to see people learning a new skill and being so pleased with what they make. I'm always learning from my classes too :-)
ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful! I bet the participants learned so much from you!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on a successful class. Looks like they learned a lot.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Paper piecing is something I had to learn from a person--reading tutorials didn't help me at all. A friend who loves paper piecing sat down with me and walked me through a block, including making all the easy mistakes. So glad you'll continue teaching paper piecing!
