In Process

After a busy last week and a half between work and wedding planning (we have a date!!) I finally got the motivation to finish up my Cartwheels baby quilt.

It also helps that Park Ranger Fiance is going to see the parents of the "new person" next weekend.

I bought some butter yellow snuggly flannel for the backing and binding. I love flannel backed quilts!

For some reason, I had a lot of trouble with the top scootching all over while I was machine stitching the binding on. Seam ripping binding off is NOT a fun process!

Here is the little ray of sunshine:

Happy weekend to you!

  1. Already completed your March goal!!! That is awesome, must feel sooo good! The cartwheels are lovely, lucky baby to snuggle up in that beauty.

  2. Yellow flannel sounds like a perfect complement to this top. But I can't see it ahem ahem.

  3. Yellow flannel sounds so scrummy, perfect for a new baby too :)

  4. That is soooo cute! I love flannel backing, too. It just makes the quilt so soft and wonderful!

  5. Sucha a pretty quilt. I am also working on a little baby quilt that have flannel for the back. I just stopped by from Quilt Story. Thank you for sharing your quilt!

  6. Such a cute quilt!! I really need to use flannel on the back of one soon ;)
