July Lovely Year of Finishes Goal

The theme for my goal this month is Christmas in July!!

I want to finish up all of the blocks for and put the top together of my Basketcase quilt that I am making with my Blitzen jelly roll.

Here are all the blocks that I have finished thus far:

I should end up with 46 blocks total and I plan to use 42 blocks on the front and put the last four on the backing.

Happy Independence Day to you!

  1. What an eye catching pattern and pretty fabrics. Great idea to think ahead to Christmas. I usually start thinking about Christmas quilts in December when it's really too late to do anything about it, ha ha.

  2. I have to ask you about this fabric. I purchased a layer cake of this fabric over the internet. The colors were not what I expected because I wasn't really familiar with the designer -- now I know. I ended up not making the project I wanted for the intended person because it did not look like them. I have since made a lap quilt and I "like" it. Were the fabrics what you expected -- which, if you bought them in person, I guess they would be!
