Lately

In my frustration of not being able to work on my Civil War Quilt for Park Ranger Boyfriend, I started a new project and continued working on an old one. 

I continued working on my scrappy baskets, as I found some more white on white prints in my stash. Hooray!


I started working on some New York Beauty blocks in using some other scraps and some small cuts of fabric in my stash.


In other news, I had a fun weekend visiting Park Ranger Boyfriend. We went to Gettysburg for the afternoon on Saturday and generally ate a lot of food at a lot of different places. It was excellent. Here I am at the Michigan Cavalry Memorial:

    Gettysburg is so cool! I went over Fall Break a few years ago and I loved it. All of the memorials are so neat, yet also very sad.

    Your dress is adorable as well. :)

    Your baskets look great! Seeing your NYB has sparked an idea for me with a set of FQ's I won. I do not need more projects on my plate. Now you are just being an enabler.

    Gettysburg is definitely a special place (I went to college there:))... I really like your bright scrappy baskets!
