My January goal was to finish both my rainbow Farmer's Wife quilt and my Gathering quilt but I only got the Farmer's Wife quilt done. I did finish some other projects (hooray!) that were slightly more urgent and I finally got my Gathering quilt trimmed and the binding prepped this week!
Ready to bind:
1. Gathering Mystery Quilt with Cora's Quilts -- This quilt is now trimmed and the binding is ready to sew! This should be an easy finish.
Being long arm quilted:
2. Top Spin -- Turnaround time TBA
Ready to be quilted:
3. Summer on the Coast Quilt -- Ready to be quilted, but no deadline
4. Traveling Quilt Bee (2016) -- I prepped the backing for this quilt but I will have buy a batting.
5. On Ringo Lake Mystery QAL -- The top is now done and I need to decide on backing.
6. Magnolia Mystery QAL -- I finished the quilt top for this as well and I will also need to find backing.
Tops partially finished:
7. Bonnie and Camille Coast to Coast Bee -- No progress
8. Romantic Garden Quilt -- No progress
9. Monthly Wall Hangings -- No progress
Just blocks:
10. Pineapple Stash Bee Blocks -- No progress
11. Sew Kitschy Blocks -- No progress
12. Mini Monthly Wall Hangings -- No progress
13. Happy Houses blocks -- No progress
14. Birthstone blocks -- No progress
15. Donuts quilt -- I made one more block -- now 11/18 are complete -- and sorted fabrics for three more green blocks.
Quilt alongs in progress and long term projects:
16. Monthly Island Batik Ambassador projects -- I am going to be an Ambassador again in 2018 and am waiting to see what I get in my box! This was my January project featuring Mountain's Majesty:
New projects started:
17: Breezy Blooms C2C Bee -- I sent off my quilt starter to Stephanie and I have Audrey's quilt with me.
18. Top Secret Sewing -- I've actually finished one secret sewing project that I can't show you until March, and have two others that I'm working on that will be shown off later in the spring! One is a baby quilt, one is a throw quilt, and one is a table runner!
My goal for this month is to finish my Gathering quilt, which should be easy to accomplish in the next week or so! Once that is finished, I want to start quilting my Traveling Quilt Bee top.
I am also excited to share that Cheryl Brickey and Paige Alexander's (FIRST!) book, Modern Plus Sign Quilts is now available! Check it out on Amazon and Stash Books (not affiliate links!). I am very excited for Cheryl and Paige -- and I can tell you firsthand (hint hint wink wink) that this book is fabulous!
