My May goals were to finish my May IBA pillow project, which I did, and to finish my Traveling Quilt Bee quilt, which I did not quite accomplish.
Quilting in Progress:
1. Traveling Quilt Bee (2016) -- 5/8 sections completed - I have two more "center sections" to complete and then I'll work on the borders. I am hoping to finish up the center sections this weekend.
Completed tops:
2. Magnolia Mystery QAL -- This top needs a final trim (since it's on point) and I need to shop for a backing.
Tops partially finished:
3. Bonnie and Camille C2C Bee Quilt -- No progress
4. Romantic Garden Quilt -- No progress
5. Monthly Wall Hangings -- No progress
Just blocks and units:
6. Pineapple Stash Bee Blocks -- No progress
7. Sew Kitschy Blocks -- No progress
8. Cubicle Quilts -- No progress
9. Happy Houses blocks -- No progress
10. Birthstone blocks -- No progress
11. Donuts quilt -- No progress
12. Double Delight -- I have all of the blocks for this quilt done! I need to go shopping for fabric for the setting triangles, since I didn't find anything workable in my stash.
Quilt alongs and long term projects:
13. Monthly Island Batik Ambassador projects -- My May project was a pillow that matched my April project. Our theme for June is modern-inspired quilts -- I have a large mini (or midi?) quilt designed that I will start sharing about next week!
14. Breezy Blooms C2C Bee -- I am done with my addition to Karen's quilt but not quite ready to share it yet! Here's a preview:
15. Blocked Rainbow Quilt -- Monday is the start of sharing finished tops! My quilt top is done and I'm plotting how to quilt it. If you've made a quilt top with us, please email a picture to me at littlebunnyquilts@gmail.com this weekend!
My goal for this month is to *actually* finish my Traveling Quilt Bee quilt and to go shopping (online or in store) to get fabric to finish up some of the tops that aren't quite finished and for backings.
I'm also excited to share that Honey, Bunny, and Doll will be participating in the first-ever Tips and Tutorials Festival hosted by Cheryl of Meadow Mist Designs and Yvonne of Quilting Jetgirl! We are sponsoring a prize and I'll be writing at least one tips and tutorials post!
Have a wonderful weekend!
Thank you for your patience with my responses to your comments! Blogger is still not sending me comment notifications but I am doing my best to respond to everyone.
ReplyDeleteLot's of things on your list, but they all look fun! Good luck with your goals this month. And have a wonderful birthday too.
ReplyDeleteI always appreciate your roundup posts and I'm so thrilled you are supporting (and joining in) the Tips and Tutorials Festival!
ReplyDeleteYou are knee deep in quilts! Sew much fun, too! Keep on stitching. I'm looking forward to your tip or tutorial.
ReplyDeleteBloggers' round up posts make me feel so good! I get slightly anxious when I have more than four or five quilts going on -- so the round up posts make me feel great about my lists! Ha! Good assortment you have going on.
ReplyDeleteI love that Blocked Rainbow Quilt!
ReplyDeleteYou should never, ever feel bad about eating watermelon and berries! I keep a watermelon cut up in the fridge all summer long, it's my go to "candy". It's good for you!!!
Good luck with all your goals! I look forward to seeing your tutorial, too. Blocked Rainbow looks amazing and I'm excited to see how you will quilt it!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to reading your tips!

Double Delight is really coming along. Even though you didn't get to all your list, there was still progress. Sometimes I have to remind myself that's just as good as finishes.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to you, June is my month also(as in tomorrow!).
