Brutal Honesty {January 2019}

I don't know about you, but for me, 2018 went by in a practical whirlwind. It feels like just yesterday I wrote up my January 2018 WIP list. Just for fun, I went through and put asterisks by the projects that were on this list one year ago. (Or maybe not for fun, maybe more for personal accountability.)

Sent out for quilting:
1. Drift Away Scrap Quilt -- At the long arm quilter. This quilt is earmarked as a gift and it doesn't actually need to be finished until the summer (I think.)

Completed tops:
2*. Magnolia Mystery QAL -- No progress, need batting
3. Breezy Blooms C2C Bee -- No progress, need backing + batting
4. Double Delight -- No progress, probably going to have long armed, need backing

Tops partially finished:
5*. April Showers C2C Bee Quilt -- No progress
6*. Romantic Garden Quilt -- No progress
7*. Monthly Wall Hangings -- No progress
8*. Pineapple Stash Bee Blocks -- No progress

Quilt alongs and long term projects:
14*. Monthly Island Batik Ambassador projects -- Our theme for December was "whimsical and wonky!" Our January blog hop is coming up soon -- here's a preview of my project featuring the new Bazaar line!

15. Good Fortune Mystery Quilt -- I am all done with Clues #1-5. I am in the "wait and see" stage for Clue #6, and waiting on the final clues to be revealed this week (I think.)

I already know that January is going to be a bear of a month for me because of the move. More than likely, January is going to be a quiet month here at Little Bunny Quilts, other than my has-to-be-finished Island Batik project for January.

My mom, sister, and I are going to be "unofficially" participating in the APQ UFO challenge as well. My list is not very different than this list, but hopefully it will force me to pull out some of the long-languishing UFOs/WIPs. This month's selected WIP is my April Showers Medallion. It needs a final border and then will be ready for quilting.
