Christine's Kitchen QAL {Week 7}

Welcome to Week 7 of the Christine's Kitchen QAL!

Update: The QAL Is now over and the entire pattern is now available for purchase.

Today is our last paper pieced block and we are assembling Row #4! Next week we'll be doing our applique flowers.

Today we're making a fancy schmancy kettle. This block has the most sections of any, so be patient as you put this one together. (Note: the draft pattern I was working from had an error in one of the F sections that has since been corrected for you!)

Trimmed and ready to build my block!

Doesn't it make you want to sing "Be Our Guest"?

Join blocks 9, 10, 11, and 12 to form Row #4!

Here is Amanda's tea kettle:

With Row #4 completed it's time for another giveaway! All of those who complete Row #4 and post a picture on Instagram with the hashtag #christineskitchenquilt will be entered to win this week's prize -- four chubby eighth cuts of Benartex's Kitchen Love line PLUS your choice of one Seasonal Placemat or Seasonal Tablerunner pattern.

Next week we're making our applique blocks and sewing together Row #2, so we will have another contest! If you're running a little bit behind, this week and next will be the perfect time to catch up and get your previous rows finished before we start working on the setting, border, and quilting! And if you're feeling a little bit wild, there is still time to catch up before our quilt parade on June 5th! That day we'll show off all of the finished quilt tops!
