Something Completely Different

Happy belated Valentine's Day, everyone!

I ended up being kind of distracted this weekend starting Thursday night and didn't get much of a chance to touch my sewing and this picture should explain why:

He put a ring on it!
Park Ranger Boyfriend and I are ENGAGED! (Correction: Park Ranger Fiance and I are engaged.)

I came home from work on Thursday and he had come in for the weekend and gave me a Valentine to read and then told me to turn it over. On the back it said "Alison, will you marry me?" and when I looked at him he was on his knee with the ring box open! I was totally and completely surprised!

We are so excited and so astonished with the outpouring of well-wishes from all of our friends and family!

    Definitely a viable reason for being distracted fro the sewing. Congrats to both of you... When you get married will you become a park ranger too?

    Congrats! Very exciting news! I guess he is worth all that hand quilting on that civil war quilt... I was a bit worried you'd go to all that work and then have him dump you and keep that beautiful quilt! ;)
