Hello everybody and welcome to my FIRST giveaway ever as a part of Sew, Mama, Sew! Giveaway Day!!
I'm Alison and I have been quilting for almost 10 years and I'm currently a full time graduate student in Chemistry -- quilting is like therapy for me! I have been blogging here at Little Bunny quilts since August 2011, and have loved "getting to know" so many of my fellow bloggers, especially my fellow scientists! So poke around and maybe you'll like what you see here or at least I'll make you laugh a little.
1. Nubees Blocks - August 2. Cheery Quilt 3. Christmas Napkins 4. Batik Placemats 5. Nubee's Block - July 6. Snowflake Quilt 7. Seville Quilt 8. Mystery Quilt 9. Teacup quilt |
I did a charm square swap over the summer and ended up with two spots so I ended up with A LOT of 5" squares and so you have the chance to win 50 of them!
You'll receive 50 lovely charms to add to your stash!
AND if more then 250 entries are received, I will add a second prize of 25 charms!
UPDATE: Second prize of 25 charms will be given!! I hope you're feeling lucky!
The giveaway will be open until 5 PM PST (8 PM EST) FRIDAY DECEMBER 7th, and I will announce the winner the next morning! I am willing to ship internationally!
To Enter:
For one entry: Tell me about the state of your holiday decorating if you are doing any this year. I have my tree up, but it's not decorated yet!
For a second entry: be an old or new follower of Little Bunny Quilts and say "I'm a _____ follower" and fill in the blank with something creative. Wow me, people!
UPDATE: And I will be verifying this! Don't think you can trick me.
Have fun checking out all of the Sew, Mama, Sew! giveaways this week!

ReplyDeleteWaiting to get our tree until this week...rest of the house is ready to go!
ReplyDeletewe took down our fall decorations today - and are going to leave the house bare for a couple days - then put up the tree on thursday. no special reason for thursday, it's just that my husband will be home to help.

To get into the Christmas spirit, though, I've already been listening to tons of Christmas music and have been watching Christmas movies for a month already. ;)

ReplyDeleterobyn(dot)geddes(at)gmail(dot)com
We were all sick like all of November, so mostly we are trying to get the house decluttered so we CAN decorate instead of just being in survival mode. We do have garland with pretty bows and some jingle bells on our stair rail, a big wreath on our front window, and we got out the Advent wreath to light at dinner. But that's about it so far. I think we'll get our tree this weekend hopefully!!
ReplyDeleteWe have actually skipped decorating this year, because we'll be out of town, and have been busy doing some deep cleaning.
ReplyDeletelimor477 at aol dot com
I have done everything but the tree. Will be getting the tree tomorrow.

Everything is up except the tree, we will get it this weekend. Outside lights are already starting to burn out, of course!
ReplyDeleteThis is my first Christmas as a quilter so I am super excited about decorating - I made a wreath, a Christmas quilt, a tree skirt and some decorations!
ReplyDeleteMy holiday decorating is atrocious. I am yet to put up my tree and I have three halfmade Christmas projects that were supposed to add to my festive frivolity and instead are languishing in piles taunting me with their unfinished-ness.
ReplyDeleteWe don't really have room for much decorating but we all love Christmas lights so we have them strung all over IN the house. Why waste them outside where I can't see them??
ReplyDeleteI am a Klingon follower! Qapla'! }}:-D
ReplyDeleteMy holiday decorating is pretty much done tg.

ReplyDeleteI'm pretty much done with my decorating. Now I just need to get all the gifts made.
ReplyDeleteI am done decorating the house, but still need to buy a tree thank you for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteI have a 8 month old baby and the tree is still in a box in garage with wondering on where to put it that it would not get climbed (she is standing and holding things) and a tree would be too tempting. And I am sure you will get over your amount of responses. Love giveaway days.
ReplyDeleteNew blog follower.
ReplyDeleteMy husband put the outside lights up, but we haven't got our tree yet. We may cut down a slightly overgrown ornamental cedar in our yard and use that... we've been doing the tree on the cheap that way for 4 years now, but the kids are objecting this year and want a "real" tree!
ReplyDeleteI have my Santa, some window decoration and my Calendar up, but we won't do the tree until December 24th.

ReplyDeleteI am a brand new South African follower :)
ReplyDeleteFinished decorating the inside of the house and all that's left is lights and things for the outside. Thanks for the chance.
ReplyDeleteI'm a new follower and I'm in awe of how you can go to school full time and find time to sew and blog. I have 3 grown kids and I still have a hard time finding me time. Thanks for the chance.
ReplyDeleteI've bought my christmas tree if that counts! I'm still waiting for it to be delivered though...stockings are made, lights might be going up today, but SMS has too many good blogs to discover, i wont finish reading them till Christmas!
ReplyDeleteThe decorations are out of storage but they are not up yet.
ReplyDeleteI'm a simple living follower.
ReplyDeleteI'll be putting up the tree and decorations and lights this weekend - and making some sugar cookies. I love when everything looks festive! I would love to win these - I love mini charms (I'm working on a scrap vomit quilt)
ReplyDeleteHaven't started yet. We tend to leave it another week before we disgorge the loft contents. Also you should probably send me her prize if that naughty twinnie Amy @ Amys Crafty Shenanigans wins. She won't mind, honest!
ReplyDeletetrashalou (at) googlemail (dot) com
Our decorating was done the day after Thanksgiving. We cut down a tree and the kids decorated. Now we can enjoy it for the month of December. =)
ReplyDeleteThanks for a lovely giveaway.
No decorating here so far. I hope to put a few things out, but since we will not be here Christmas day, we aren't putting up a tree. :(

ReplyDeleteI'm a HOPEFUL follower! Thanks for the chance! :)
ReplyDeleteWe've just begun to decorate. I think it'll be a glittery weekend!
ReplyDeleteOh goodness, with holiday decorating I'm not sure what's been done at my house since I move back from Italy in 10 days. I do know that I'll be putting up/making more decorations when I'm home like hopefully a garland for the mantle and I'm sure to be baking many cookies.
ReplyDeleteI'm also an American-food-craving follower!
ReplyDeleteWe've got all the decorations but the tree up. We plan on trekking to the mountains in 10 days to chop one down!
ReplyDeleteI'm a spontaneous follower. Chicken!
ReplyDeleteTree is up and sparkling in the corner. All silver and white lights...
ReplyDeleteI have a tabletop arrangement of three 2 ft trees with multicolored lights and a wreath near my fireplace. audiodropzone(at)gmail(dot)com
ReplyDeleteNo decorations up yet! Normally I decorate on the 1st December, but despite having been looking forward to doing it for weeks, I just haven't felt like it yet! No idea why!
ReplyDeleteI'm a brand shiny-new follower!
ReplyDeleteI've only got one sting of snowflake lights up inside. And I've got all the lights & blow-ups done outside. But no tree yet... Don't know when that will happen... Thanks for a chance to win! :)

ReplyDeleteWe have our tree up and lights - very pretty. Lots more to do though, sigh...
ReplyDeleteMy tree is up and decorated and the outside lights are done. That is probably all I will get done.
ReplyDeleteWe have thought about tree hunting! Definately this week. We have the pattery tree my mother made out and lights up outside. We better get in the spirit!
ReplyDeleteI have not yet begun to decorate for Christmas... I guess I'm too busy trying to get all of my sewing for Christmas presents done!
ReplyDeleteI'm a brand new follower :)

ReplyDeletei am almost done with my holiday decorations - tree is up and lights are up outside!
ReplyDeleteradiyas (at) gmail (dot) com
My holiday decorating consists only of one hand print wreath so far. Have to figure out where the tree is going this year before getting out the decor. sirscientess(at)gmail(dot)com

ReplyDeleteNo decorations yet ... I'll get them up, though. Soon.
ReplyDeleteI'm an OLD Google Reader follower. I'm a NEW Google Friend Connect follower.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance - I'm also a student (nursing) so I understand that quilting keeps you sane! Had my last final this morning so I'm hoping to make some Christmas Stockings and a tree skirt this week!
ReplyDeleteI have put up my measley 12 inch Christmas tree with its 20 red ornaments. :) That's about all of the decorating I will be doing this Christmas. Thanks for such a generous giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI'm a NOVICE (couldn't think of something more creative) follower on Google Reader.
ReplyDeleteI've got almost everything: advent calendar, Xmas tree decorated, some garlands, some window decoration... but sure I'll sew something else.
ReplyDeleteWe have done all our decorating already in 2 days. Only because our help is getting older = )
ReplyDeleteI have our tree up, but nothing on it and nothing else out.
ReplyDeleteI have a broken ankle and a houseful of kittens. We have gotten zero decorating done.
ReplyDeleteWe have our tree up and decorated. I think that's all we're doing this year!
ReplyDeleteI'm a GFC follower
ReplyDeleteSo far... all I have for decorating is a coupe of small twine cone trees I made and a few paper snowflakes my boys cut out! Hubby was in hospital for almost two weeks, so nothing's happened tree-wise yet. Hopefully!
ReplyDeleteI'm also a GFC follower!
ReplyDeleteI have done nothing!! Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteWe haven't done any holiday decorating at my house yet. Well, that's a bit of a lie, but a bit not. You see, we forgot to take down a garland last year and so it's still attached to the drapes in the living room. And also, we never took down the lights outside, so they're up (but not plugged in yet...) I live with my sister and her husband and we've not managed to coordinate a weekend yet, but possibly Sunday we'll get things out and do it up proper.
ReplyDelete(clumsy.chord(at)gmail.com)
I haven't done any decorating yet. I don't have small children any more & it is/was very important to them (that's my excuse anyway!). I will get it happening soon. Thanks for the lovely giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI don't have my tree yet! only a few Christmas cards are decorating the mantlepiece...we better get on the case soon
ReplyDeleteI don't have any decorations up yet. That will probably happen after next week when all my finals are done and the semester is over!
ReplyDeleteI'm an awesome new follower.
ReplyDeleteOh dear. Christmas decorations. I don't have *anything* up yet! :-( (Although I am in the middle of making Christmas stockings for my whole family, so I guess that sort of counts as decorating progress?!?)
ReplyDeleteI decorated my meyer lemon tree with lights and ornaments and I hung a few big stars from the ceiling.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing and for the opportunity on a great draw.
ReplyDeletebonnielarson58@gmail.com
My decorating is going slowly. There are things out on every table until i can decide where they go. Probably more than 1/2 done. No tree up yet, i wait a little longer for that since it takes up so much room.
ReplyDeleteI am a new enthusiastic follower.
ReplyDeleteI'm done decorating. We hauled out all the stuff on Saturday and got it all done. There's a few things I am accustomed to putting out that I haven't been able to find, but I think I'm just gonna let it slide this year.
ReplyDeleteI have gotten no decorating done yet.
ReplyDeleteI'm a new follower.
ReplyDeleteWell, the tree is up but not fully decorated, and a garland is waiting to be strung in the kitchen... So it is definitely a WIP!
ReplyDeleteMy holiday decorating is ALL done! We turned the living room into my sewing room so all we have room for now is a 4 foot fake tree ;) Win for me, I decorated it and put all the other stuff out a week ago!
ReplyDeleteHello Alison! My decorating is limited this year as I just dont' have the spirit without kids around! I have a snow/town scene on my fireplace and a small tree..and some garland on the mantel with candles..and I just have to "wrap" some of the pictues on my wall to look like presents and I am done! All this...just in case the kids stop by!
ReplyDeleteBut Merry Christmas just the same!

ReplyDeleteOur tree is up and decorated but the rest of the house is somewhat lacking. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm a crazy follower - I'm just so busy all the dang time!
ReplyDeleteMy tree is up and thankfully came pre lit. There are about 4 ornaments on there. My son got distracted and didn't want to do it anymore :)
ReplyDeleteWe're almost done decorating. Had to make an emergency trip to costco to buy more (matching) outdoor lights before they ran out and those are still waiting for installation, but everything else is up and shining!
ReplyDeleteI'm feeling anti-Christmas decorating this year but it must be done! :) I'll be glad when all the decorations are up and beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI'm a enthusiastic follower!
ReplyDeleteWe are not putting up Christmas decorations. I guess you could technically say I'm done then, right? ;-)
ReplyDeleteOk, so I looked at you front page and I decided to follow this blog after all. I'm not particularly easy to convince. ;-) I'm a somewhat-reluctant follower of this blog. LOL
ReplyDeleteEverything is up except outdoor lights.
