Happy Wednesday, everybody! I'm on a major roll with posts this week! Hooray!
Today I'm sharing my September BOM blocks for the Fat Quarter Shop Wishes QAL and Quiet Play's Sew Kitschy QAL.
This month's block for the Wishes QAL is called Dove in the Window! Working on this quilt always makes me so happy because of the bright colors.
This month is the LAST month for this year's Sew Kitschy QAL and I am so sad! I am probably going to have to buy the Sew Retro and Sew Retro 2 Bundles now. Knowing me, if and when I do that, I'll binge paper piece them in one sitting!
The last block is Betty in her kitchen!
Silly me didn't get a picture of all 9 of my Sew Kitschy blocks together yet! I'll hopefully have that posted soon.
Have a lovely September day!
WOW! Your Dove in the Window block really pops! Sometimes I find the traditional pieced blocks boring, but when you have such fabulous fabric and strategic use of color, the blocks come back to life and can really become inspiring again! Great job!
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely blocks! I like that Betty gets to look out at "blue skies" all day!

Your blocks are terrific!!
ReplyDelete2 very different blocks, Betty looks complicated to me
ReplyDeleteGreat blocks, but I sure love Betty's kitchen :) :))
ReplyDeleteYou did a fabulous job on your Betty block!! Your wishes block is very nice-- I'll have to check out the wishes quilt along.
ReplyDeleteThe "Betty" block turned out beautifully. There are some projects you really don't want to see the end of.
