Hip to be Square Pattern Premiere and Giveaway!

The giveaway is now closed! Thanks to all who entered!

Happy Friday to you!

Honey, Bunny, and Doll is happy to share its newest pattern -- Hip to be Square!

This is a great beginning sewing pattern -- or a great way to showcase larger prints! The pattern is for a generous throw -- and is fat quarter friendly!

And you have the opportunity to win a copy of this pattern this weekend! To enter, just share your top quilt goal for 2014 in a comment -- mine is mastering free motion quilting! The contest will close Sunday at 5 PM EST.

As a heads up -- the Starburst quilt along ends on January 15th! Share your finished blocks over in the final link up to receive free setting directions! On January 15th, the individual Starburst blocks will no longer be available for free -- the full pattern will be up for sale.

Good luck on the contest -- and as always, don't forget to share your HBD Pattern finishes on our Craftsy page!

  2. I agree. I usually just do straight line quilting. I look at all the gorgeous options of FMQ, I think it's time to just give it a go!

  5. My goal is to actually machine quilt a quilt (even if it is only straight line or in the ditch). I have only tied or hand quilted my quilts.

  6. My goal is to complete 3 quilts (or 4 if I'm on a roll) before I buy any new fabric (except one needs backing). Everything is all cut so that icky part's done. I can do this!!!

  8. Try to put all the very 1st blocks I made into an actual quilt top, I know it doesn't seem like much but they have been in a tote for over a year while life just got in the way.

  9. My goal is to quilt and bind at least 12 tops this year (you don't want to know how many I have....)--probably won't have all my stars done in time--figure I can set them together in similar fashion or my own design. Thanks for all the patterns--exquisite!

  10. My goal is to make quilts for my 2 sisters and my mother this year, and maybe even my 3 kids and their spouses. That's 9 quilts in all. Plus I would like to do some quilting other than just straight lines. That may be asking too much. I'm still considering myself a "newbie"; but I love this quilting thing..... Love this pattern. Thanks for the chance to win.
